Coming Soon to Country Club Plaza—Opening Fall 2013

Valencia Group is anticipating the opening of the second Hotel Sorella – Hotel Sorella Country Club Plaza – in the autumn of 2013.  Hotel Sorella blends timeless elements of classic design with Mediterranean influences.  The aesthetic is an ideal fit for Country Club Plaza, which was developed in 1922 and inspired by the architecture and ambiance of Seville, Spain.  Considered to  be the country’s first automobile-oriented shopping center, it currently serves as mixed use collection of high end retail, restaurants, residences and offices.  Although the design is still evolving, Hotel Sorella Country Club Plaza is being developed with the intention of creating the premier hotel in the Kansas City market.  Property highlights will include high tech amenities, an 1800 square foot pool terrace, 5,700 square feet of flexible meeting and pre-function space plus 4,000 square feet of sophisticated restaurant and bar offerings.
