Hotel Sorella Country Club Plaza

Valencia Group has forged a relationship with Kansas City, MO-based VA West Properties LLC to open an upscale, 132-room hotel in Kansas City’s landmark Country Club Plaza district. Slated to debut in fall 2013, Hotel Sorella Country Club Plaza will serve as the first expansion of Valencia Group’s Sorella brand. Chic and modern, Sorella blends timeless elements of classic design with Mediterranean influences. Although the design is still evolving, Hotel Sorella Country Club Plaza is being developed with the intention of creating the premier hotel in the Kansas City market. Local firms Gould Evans Associates, LC and Davison Architecture + Urban Design LLC are overseeing the architecture, while Seattle, WA-based Dawson Design Associates has been charged within the interiors. Additional partners include contractor JE Dunn Construction Company, civil engineer SK Design Group, Inc., MEP engineer Gibbens Drake Scott, Inc. and structural engineer Bob D. Campbell & Company. Lone Star Court

This retro–inspired, motor court concept will be located in the heart of the Domain in Austin, TX. An authentic Americana hotel by Valencia Group located on over 4 acres, where nostalgia meets modern,  with an aesthetic that’s authentically Austin and Texas Hill Country, from the art in the rooms to the unique outdoor environment. Lone Star Court will also feature live music, an outdoor fire pit, and food trailer courts onsite. The architect for Lone Star Court is RTKL Associates, the interior designer is Lauren Rottet of Rottet Studio, and landscape architect is Ten Eyck Landscape Architects.
